This Thanxgiving weekend has been so great! I've done so much stuff with my mom that it's kinda weird. haha. My cousin Tiffany is in town though, so that's a big reason why*
For Thanksgiving, I helped mom cook a little by making the potatoes and helping with the turkey. I had dinner with mom, mom's boyfriend Rick, Rick's friend Joe, Tiffany, and my boyfriend Michael* It was an awesome dinner! We watched some silly movie with Chevy Chase called Funny Farm (it wasn't that great) and relaxed together.
The day after Thanxgiving, mom, Tiffany, Michael and I went to the Venetian because Tiffany wanted to buy her favorite type of makeup here (since the only way she can buy it otherwise is through the internet or mail) so Michael and I met them at Banana Republic, went to Sephora and I smelled lots of fragerances while Tif and mom shopped for makeup from Bare Escentuals. I found some scents that I kinda liked. One was Black by Kenneth Cole (I believe that was the one):

The other was In Love Again by Yves Saint Laurent

Michael really liked In Love Again. I liked both a lot. I'm going to go back sometime and smell them all again, starting with these two. I put on Black, and I really liked it on my skin.
Anyhoo, Tif was taking a little longer than usual, so Michael and I said to meet us at this one restaurant/bar in the Venetian. We went there when we were first dating, so it brought back all these memories for us* Love you sweetie* I sang there with a band that probably still plays there. It was on a whim. We decided we're goint to back there sometime soon* We smoked cigars there another time, and that was nice*
Mom and Tif met us, we had a drink and talked, then decided to go to Bahama Breeze for dinner. It was a great dinner! We had a psycho waitress who must have been on crack, and drew on the leftover holders. She said she would draw whatever we wanted on one, and mom asked me to choose something that I wanted drawn, so I picked...
drumroll please...
A DANCING SHRIMP!
Mom had a shrimp dish. The chick drew the shrimp, and it looked like a worm and was fucking funny because she put tap shoes on it and had the words "tap tap" at the bottom and gave the fucking thing JAZZ HANDS. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, EVER. We had margaritas and had a fucking ball*
Then yesterday mom, Tif, Michael, and I got together to help mom put up some stuff on her porch. She got some bamboo and curtain thingys and candle holders and a windchime. We had to get some hooks to put it all up, so we jumped in my car and went over to Aces Hardware. We found what we needed, and I suggested going to a friend's coffee shop that they just opened on their own, so we went* It was right in the same little strip mall. The place is great! They have free wireless internet, it's huge, and a good atmosphere. We looked at stuff online, because they have a free computer there, and just relaxed. I plan on going back there to do schoolwork*
Then we went back to mom's and put up all the patio stuff. It looks so good*
Tiffany still wanted to go to the strip, so we decided to get together later. Michael and I went home and did laundry and dishes, and then met up with her around 8pm. We drove through the shittiest traffic ever because I wanted to park at Circus Circus...I'm a retard...so I was having a cow the whole 30 minutes of going through that fucking parking lot, but we finally found a spot and were off on an adventure! yay!
We pushed through the millions of kids at Circus Circus, and finally got outside to Slots-of-Fun right next door. We got cheap beer, played some nickel machines, then left. We went to the Stardust, and played some pennies, and I won $8! That's a lot for pennie slots! We were walking past a bar that I had said that I liked earlier, and a band was playing, and I said I wanted to stop. Turns out that the band was really good! So we stayed for the whole set and had a good time* Then we went to the Frontier and I told Tiff that I had mud wrestled here, and she had to see the place where I did it, so we stopped at Gilley's and it was packed so we left. (<<That was a run-on if there was a run-on...haha!)
We left Gilley's, but we ended up staying at the Frontier for a while and playing slots and poker (on the machines). We eat pizza at Little Caesar's, and then played, then left to go back. We stopped at the Stardust and watched the band play another set, then decided to stay the rest of the night, and we had a great time! It was awesome. We talked with some of the band members too* That was cool*
We walked back, and we were so tired. It rocked though*
Today I feel good, and it's one more day till my busy week next week.
Next week I have to strip hardcore on Monday and Tuesday because I have to pay rent and I'm poor as hell, and I have to volunteer at the SPCA tomorrow morning because I have to get my community service for one of my classes done this week. I also start my new Bellagio job on Friday, and also LEAVE on Friday for LA. I'm going there with my dad and my grandma to see the Crystal Cathedral. My grandma has always wanted to go there, and they invited me, so I said, why the hell not. I'm not Christian, but I love my grandma, and we write each other a lot (by snail mail, if you can believe it) so I really want to do something with her that she really enjoys. I've also never been to LA, so I'm excited*
I'll probably like it too much and end up moving there on a whim and becoming homeless and selling my body for crack.
hahahahahahahahahahaha.
Nope...don't think so.
Anyhoo, after this week, I can relax a little...but still not that much because I have finals. Sigh. Here we go. Much love out to ya'll.
Crystal*

Just lovely, Bettie* We love you* |
